10 Year Parts and Labor Warranty on HVAC and Plumbing

According to the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders), the biggest surprise expense in the first ten years   of homeownership is mechanical failure, including heating and air equipment, hot water heating, and plumbing.  Most builders offer only a five year warranty for parts, with one year for labor, if they offer anything at all.
